Important Information from Diabetes SA CEO - Angelique Pasalidis

In light of the events of the past weekend and the actions by every state government for lockdown and/or border closure, we will be closing our office, 159 Sir Donald Bradman Drive, Hilton from Wednesday 25 March 2020, 5.00pm for an indefinite period of time.

As you are all undoubtably aware, the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the world and as a result, Diabetes SA have implemented some very important changes in order to protect our members, community and our staff. We are doing our very best to minimize the impact of our service provision but certainly there will be changes in the immediate future to how we provide support to our members and the community. Please review the link to find out how you may be impacted and what we are doing to support you at this challenging time. Please be assured that we are still here to support you every step of the way, and assist with any concerns you may have, but the way we do it will be different.

COVID-19 and the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS)

We recognise that people with diabetes and their families may be concerned about their risk, and also the availability of their diabetes medicines and NDSS products and supplies. Most people are continuing to order and receive their NDSS products and diabetes medicines as usual. This ensures enough products are available for everyone. For the latest information on COVID-19 and the NDSS, please visit the NDSS website at ndss.com.au/coronavirus-covid-19-information/. If you need a bit of extra support, or if you are struggling with your diabetes management during this time, please don’t hesitate to call the NDSS Helpline on 1800 637 700 to speak to a health professional.

Information for people living with diabetes about COVID-19 (coronavirus)
