In fact, our research shows that Low-Carbohydrate, Mediterranean, Plant-Based, and Low-Glycaemic Index (GI) eating patterns can each be beneficial for managing type 2 diabetes. Following one of these four healthy eating patterns can lower blood glucose levels, promote a healthy weight, and reduce cardiovascular risk factors1.

Meal Masters for type 2 diabetes is a comprehensive program designed to support you to choose and implement one of the four evidence-based eating patterns.

Across four-consecutive weeks you can attend four face-to-face, small group sessions each lasting 2.5 hours at Diabetes SA’s Hilton office.

An Accredited Practising Dietitian will guide you in selecting an eating pattern and then developing your own meal plan that suits your needs and preferences.

Meal Masters is open to adults over 18 years with type 2 diabetes.
