Sample fresh produce from the market and be provided with tips on healthy and cheap meals and snacks, as well as some winter warming recipes to make the most of the fruit and veg currently in season.
After the tour, use the information you have learnt to pick up some groceries for your dinner that night to cook a healthy meal. Meet Diabetes SA at the Adelaide Central Market, near O’Connells Meats at the Grote Street entrance. The Adelaide Central Market is accessible via public transport or public parking is available in the Central Market U-Park.
