How to apply for a vacancy at Diabetes SA

Lodgement of application

Applications must be lodged via SEEK as specified in the advertisement.

Review of applications

Following the closing date, all applications will be passed to the selection committee and a shortlist of applicants for interview will be agreed. The selection process at Diabetes SA is based on how well each candidate meets the advertised selection criteria, the background of each applicant and how each best fits with our culture and values. A shortlist of candidates for phone interview is then developed.

Interviews

Pending the outcome of the phone interview process, shortlisted applicants will be contacted by telephone and interview times arranged within 2 weeks of the closing date. Due to the high level of applications received, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Selection

All shortlisted applicants will be asked a similar set of questions which are derived from the selection criteria. Selection of the successful applicant is based on the written application, responses to questions at interview and referee reports. The successful applicant will then be offered the position.

All employees who commence with Diabetes SA are required to provide a current Police Clearance Certificate and or other clearances based on the role requirements.
