Glucoboost Jellybeans 180g - Multiflavoured

GlucoBoost gluten free jelly beans are the perfect hypo treatment substitute for regular jellybeans for those who are coeliac or gluten intolerant. These jelly beans are sweetened using glucose syrup made from corn and the flavours and colours are from all-natural sources.

Two jelly beans provide 15grams of carbohydrate. Speak to our Health Services team to know how many beans you need to treat to your hypoglycaemia.

Jelly beans can provide a quick source of energy to raise blood glucose levels as an important treatment for hypoglycaemia. When consuming jelly beans otherwise, they are considered a treat food and best consumed only sometimes and in moderation.

Nutrition and Ingredients:

Sugar Glucose Syrup (from corn) 30%, Water, Thickener (1401 from corn), Invert Syrup, Natural Colours (100, 120, 141, 153, 160a, 160c), Spirulina Concentrate, Concentrated Black Carrot Juice, Concentrated Grape Juice, Flavours, Glazing Agent (Vegetable Oil (903, 904)), Food Acid (296, 330), Sodium Citrate.

To be used as the first step in treating a hypo (low glucose level), aiming to quickly increase blood glucose levels back into the target range. To keep blood glucose levels stable you may need to follow with a longer acting carbohydrate food. For more information on treating a hypo see our Emergency poster.
