Preventing and managing complications is so important. This seminar will address three of the most
common areas we are asked about: eyes, kidney, and heart health. Experts in each of these areas will
provide the latest information to help you maintain your own health and wellbeing.
Kidney health and diabetes
Join us to hear from Penny Clough from Kidney Health Australia
who will present on the subject of chronic kidney disease and
the connection with diabetes.
The heart and diabetes
Join us to hear Joanne Tan, a senior postdoctoral researcher
in the Heart and Vascular Health program at SAHMRI present
on the heart and diabetes.
Eye health and diabetes
Listen as Jason Booth, Senior Optometrist from Flinders Vision,
presents on past, present and future. A look at what is currently happening
in diabetic eye disease management and what the future might hold.
