Diabetes in Schools is a nationally consistent information
and training program designed to help school staff build the
confidence and knowledge in order to support students with
type 1 diabetes and help them thrive at school.
The Level 2 Intermediate training workshop is delivered face
to face by a Diabetes SA Credentialled Diabetes Educator.
Level 2 training is designed for the designated teachers and
school staff who volunteer to be directly involved in supporting
students with type 1 diabetes.
The Level 2 face to face workshop is an alternative to the
Level 2 online modules available on the Diabetes in Schools
website (diabetesinschools.com.au). It is recommended that
attendees complete the Level 1 Diabetes in Schools online
training prior to attending.

- Monitoring glucose levels
- Low and high glucose
- Being active
- Camp planning
- Planning for change

Cost: FREE. Certificate of attendance,
morning tea and lunch will be provided.
