Pre-learning – Diabetes for Health Professionals

The pre-learning videos and information will prepare you to engage with both the Essentials or Extension program day interactive presentations, case studies and practical activities.

Book either Essentials or Extension program and you will receive a link to pre-learning videos and information with 3 online modules that cover:

  • Increasing trends in diabetes statistics and social determinants of health
  • Pathophysiology and the changes that occur in different types of diabetes
  • How to easily describe diabetes physiology to your clients

You will be able to check your knowledge through a pre-learning quiz. Pre-learning videos and information will be available 2 weeks before the program.

Eligible participants that complete the pre-learning and both educational activities are entitled to claim a total of 13 CPD hours.
