NDSS Events

If you are registered with the National Diabetes Services Scheme (the NDSS), you can access free support programs and education to help you manage your diabetes confidently, stay healthy and live well.

When you click on the red button below, or on any of the events below, you will leave the Diabetes SA website and be taken to the NDSS website where you can register for NDSS events. You will need your NDSS card and registration number to register. If you would prefer to book by phone for these events please call the NDSS helpline on 1800 637 700.

Please return to the Diabetes SA website to access your Diabetes SA membership and information, our online shop, or to book for any Diabetes SA member events including webinars, expert speaker events, and feet or hearing checks. You can also make phone bookings for these events by calling Diabetes SA directly on 1300 198 204.

Topic specific programs

We would like to invite you to to attend our topic specific education sessions in your area. You are welcome to join one or all of the sessions that have been designed to help you manage your diabetes.

DESMOND (Diabetes Education and Self-Management for Ongoing and Newly Diagnosed) program for people with type 2 diabetes

The program recognises that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to diabetes management. It is intended to provide you with a welcoming and non-judgemental space where you can plan how you would like to manage your diabetes.

Seminars providing education and information to manage your diabetes

The National Diabetes Services Scheme is an initiative of the Australian Government administered by Diabetes Australia.

The NDSS agent in South Australia is Diabetes SA.
