Credentialled Diabetes Educator

At Diabetes SA, Jaclyn has a diverse role as a Credentialled Diabetes Educator, delivering diabetes education to priority areas of Mental Health and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and health professionals. She delivers a range of educational programs, including DESMOND, Smarts programs, and Diabetes Update for health professionals.

Jaclyn has completed her post graduate studies in both Graduate Diploma in Nursing (Diabetes Management and Education) at Flinders University and Graduate Diploma in Nursing Science (Intensive Care Nursing) at the University of Adelaide, following completion of her Bachelor of Nursing (Undergraduate) in 2011.

Her previous experience includes working in the Intensive Care Unit, working with patients experiencing high-dependency, life-threatening conditions. She also has experience managing a wide range of chronic conditions.

Jaclyn’s interests include gardening, cooking and spending time spoiling her two dogs, Rusty and Bhodi.
