Appeals

Diabetes SA runs two appeals each year, the Tax Appeal and Christmas Appeal to raise funds to help all people living with diabetes in South Australia.

This is done through raising awareness, providing information, developing education, facilitating support, supplying products and raising funds for research.

Some of the items we raise funds for:

$310 will send a child to kids’ camp

$120 will allow a person with diabetes to attend our Living Healthy 6 week course.

$75 will give a newly diagnosed person with diabetes free access to education sessions.

$50 will allow a child aged between 2-12 years with diabetes and parent to attend a support group activity.

$35 will provide a school teacher with training about diabetes by Diabetes SA staff.

$15 will provide an awareness and prevention pack to business and community organisations
