As part of the recently launched Clothing Collection Operations, Diabetes SA is partnering with Savers Australia Pty Ltd 'The Recycle Superstore' who currently operate a chain of retail stores in Melbourne and has opened their first store in Adelaide on the 8th July 2010.

Savers is no ordinary recycle store. As a leader and pioneer in the retail thrift industry for over 50 years it is a place where people from all backgrounds love to shop for great selection, deals and treasures.

Savers was founded in 1954 with the first store in San Francisco, California and was built on principles such as giving back and providing opportunities which are core values they still embrace today. With 120 Nonprofit Alliances and over 230 stores in the United States, Canada and Australia it is apparent that their approach is successful and exciting for Diabetes SA to be a part of.

Savers will purchase all merchandise donated to Diabetes SA regardless of its condition, which provides the opportunity to turn donated items into revenue for the organisation in an efficient and low risk manner. Items not selected for sale by Savers will be sent to third world countries or material wholesalers which in turns reduces the impact on landfills.

By donating to Diabetes SA you are helping to provide much needed revenue to support all those people living with diabetes in South Australia.
