Last year over 340 teams of over 1,800 participants took the challenge to lose 5 kilos from 1 September - 31 October and raise money for Diabetes SA. Teams from all over South Australia reported that members of their team either lost a few kilos, targeted 5 kilos or for some, lost over 10 kilos! But all had adopted healthier and enjoyable lifestyle habits that they would continue on.
IT'S SO SIMPLE, HERE'S HOW IT WORKS...
1. Team leaders register a team online. Please

2. Team members join online by clicking the link sent by the team leader.
3. The team web page can be updated to record the team's progress. eg. "This week our team has lost x kilos". Or it can simply contain a profile of the team and keep tally of the amount raised.
4. Each participant receives an email each week during September and October with instructions, challenges and tips to follow that week. The weekly email consists of a basic lifestlye inclusion, eg. Eat breakfast. A link to our website will provide even more resources you can access. The level of participation is up to each team.
5. Participants can email their family and friends to make an online donation to show their support of their goal and help Diabetes SA. A fundraising pack is also available for those teams who wish to physically collect money.
